1. Correct any errors reported by visitors.
2. Cross check all numbers in all available sources.
3. Add information on when the numbers were collected.
4. Standardize the names with those given in the Notocactus species lists.
5. Indicate where provisional descriptions may be found.
6. Give a link to photos, if available
7. Add numbers for some/most/all other genera (Gymnocalycium, Frailea and Weingartia to begin with).

What's New ?

• September
  1. All of the forms have been enhanced with Javascript validation, which just means they will now do some checking to make sure any required info is included.
  2. Enhancements have been made to the site to improve the appearance of a page when printed. Which just means any detail which is not relevant to printed output should not be printed. However, this will only work if your browser supports this feature. (Internet Explorer V 4/5, but not so well by V5.5 !! and Opera do, but Netscape Navigator does not at this time.)
  3. Some additions to the Notocactus section.
  4. Some additions to the Turbinicarpus section.
  5. The usual fixing / removal of broken links.
• March 2000
  1. The Wolfgang Gemmrich field numbers have been updated. It now contains genera other than Notocactus together with locality data.
  2. All of the field numbers have been updated to show the current name for the particular plants.
• January 2000
  1. The field number list for Norbert Gerloff has been expanded.
• January 1999
  1. The whole site has been upgraded to comply with the latest version of the HTML specification, HTML 4.0.
  2. The description translation page has been expanded.
  3. The "Alt Texts" of the navigation buttons have been made more informative.
