Translated from the German
Differs from the type (MF: T. schmiedickeanus ssp. klinkerianus fa. schwarzii) by the following characteristics: spines somewhat longer (up to perhaps 25 versus 20 mm), exterior tepals rose with very wide brown-rose mid-stripe, interior tepals rose with a dark rose mid-stripe.

Locality: Cerros Blancos, San Luis Potosi, México.
