This is a list of additions and improvements that will be added to this section
at a later date. Each item is in the order that I intend to do them and
should only be used as a guideline.

- A new page has been added to the
Turbinicarpus cactus photo section
containing photo's of plants in habitat.
- The translation page has had a few more additions.

- The translation page has had considerable additions
and has been split into two smaller documents.
- January 2001
- Two new description have been added to the
Turbinicarpus descriptions section:
T. horripilus ssp. kvetae and
T. pseudopectinatus ssp. jarmilae.
- Integration between the
Turbinicarpus descriptions
and the
ICBN
should now be better.
- Some additions to the species list.

- The missing descriptions have now been added to the
Turbinicarpus descriptions section.

- All of the photographs are now accessible from the
Cactus photo section. The only real impact this
has made is now Andy Powell's pictures from his
Neolloydia... who ? article are now included
in the relevant page in the Turbinicarpus photo's
page.
- September 2000
- Support for different languages has been improved. The major impact of this
is the Czech
Turbinicarpus descriptions
should display all of the correct characters.
- All of the forms have been enhanced with Javascript validation, which just
means they will now do some checking to make sure any required info is included.
- Enhancements have been made to the site to improve the appearance of a page
when printed. Which just means any detail which is not relevant to printed
output should not be printed. However, this will only work if your browser
supports this feature. (Internet Explorer V 4/5, but not so well by V5.5 !! and
Opera do, but Netscape Navigator does not at this time.)
- The cactus photograph section has been
totally redone. All of the old poor quality pics have been dumped and replaced.
There are now two major sections, the first entirely of
Turbinicarpus photographs the
other is of Notocactus photographs.
- A German translation of the
T. roseiflorus description has been
added.
- The usual fixing / removal of broken links.

- The whole site has been upgraded to comply with the latest version of the HTML
specification, HTML 4.0.
- The description translation page has been
expanded.
- The "ALT Texts" of the navigation buttons have been made more informative.
- December 1998
- Started work on the descriptions file. There is
only a basic key for identifying Turbinicarpus species so far, eventually
each species will have a separate page giving a full description, photos, notes etc.
- November 1998
- This whole section on Turbinicarpus
- The etymology page has had some additions.
